Where to begin? Such a fascinating state. Where will this blog take you? To Louisiana: the land with its unique history, its different people, its magical music, its delicious food, its special ties to France and much more!
We'll be visiting New Orleans first, then we'll go south to into Acadiana, traveling to Houma, St Martinville, Lafayette and then the capital, Baton Rouge, White Oak plantation and then back to New Orleans.
Do you know the size of the state? It's 135,382 km2 and of the 50 states there are 30 states which are bigger and 19 states which are smaller. Compared to France? Take a look here:
